Once a prospering village inhabited by Paliwal Brahmins, this site is said to be abandoned overnight with many myths attached. The regional tale claims that the residents while departing inflicted an ill omen that nobody would be able to reclaim the village otherwise they would experience paranormal activities. Hence, the village is said to be haunted till date.
