Zostel Jaisalmer

All thirteen rooms in the facility are well-kept and clean. There is a code of cleanliness to be followed, and strict adherence to sanitation is guaranteed. You will be provided clean linen which is changed on a routine basis, and the bathrooms are kept in pristine condition. There are certain amenities that the hostel provides, mainly for your convenience, for example, air-conditioner, hot water shower, room service, television et cetera. Safety vaults are also made available to the guests so that you can keep your valuables safe and secure.

There is a restaurant that the facility boasts of. It shows a fantastic view of the city and the towering fort. Try the lip-smacking flavors and breathe in the aromatic smell of freshly roasted spices of the Indian subcontinent. The restaurant provides the best flavors to suit your palate.

Alternatively, there is also the provision of a kitchenette in the facility, where you can cook and prepare whatever it is that suits your fancy. You can also learn some Indian dishes while you’re at it, with the help of the staff.

LOCATION:-

  • By Air – Jaisalmer doesn’t have a commercial airport. It does, although, have a military airport which accepts chartered flights occasionally. The next closest airport is in Jodhpur, which takes at least a six hours of driving. You can find a cab from the Jodhpur airport, but it preferable that you book one in advance. You can also take a bus to travel to Jaisalmer.
  • By Rail – The city is encompassed in a good railway system. You can find several train routes directed to Jaisalmer, or through it. There are a number of trains that connect the city with all the important cities of India like Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, et cetera. Outside of the railway station, you can find waiting taxis and auto-rickshaws that will take your destination.
  • By Road – It is fairly easy to find Jaisalmer on the map. You can hire a driver and easily drive here. Alternatively, you can also take a bus to the city. The state capital, Jaipur, is 558 kms away and takes about 9 hours of travel.
