Away from the chaos and loudness of the city, in the desert, awaits a luxurious and captivating camp experience. Manwar Camps and Resorts give camping novelty. It is located in quiet, scoping the desert horizon for as far as eyes can see. Manwar Camps and Resorts are a welcome break from the hectic city life. Dissolving liquidly into the Thar desert, these camps and the resort make sure that your every desire is fulfilled. The resort also serves as the economic hub of villagers living nearby. Manwar Resort and camps also give you the opportunity to socialize with the local Shergarh tribes.


OVERVIEW: –

Conceptualised and perceived into making by Moti Singh Rathore, the luxury resort, and camping is an idea to preserve land and give the visitors privacy and tranquility. He hired a renowned architect, Rajiv Narain, who helped him materialize his dreams. The towering resort is in the middle of the desert and accommodates your richest desires. It is also widely known for using Eco-friendly technologies. 7 kms away from the resort, almost impossible to find, are the luxurious camps.  These camps are an ideal site if you want to gaze at the desert wildlife from a safe distance, and yet be in the desert.

FACILITIES:-

RESORT (No. of Rooms: 21)

The resort is the place of delight. It is a quiet and serene area, designed on the theme of the local villages. The resort uses Eco-friendly technologies and is the epitome of comfort. In the resort are two courtyards, that display greenery in opulence. The resort also has a restaurant and an open bar. The rooms are beyond the courtyards and are called “Anandgram.” They’re conceptualized as the local huts with thatch rooftops and distinct interior. The resort also has a beautiful and stunning pool.

CAMPS (No. of Tents: 30):

The camps are located at about a distance of 7 kms from the resort. The camps are nestled among the sand dunes and encompassed in the golden glory of the desert. Inside the camp, you will find all the luxury of a hotel. There is also a tasteful courtyard in the middle of the camps, which is called “Durbar”. The beds in the camps are comfortable and as fluffy as a cloud. The camps are infused with all basic amenities like hot water, teak furniture and an electric blower for cold nights.

The Camp is operational from 15th September to 15th April every year and closed for the remaining period.

  • DELUXE CAMPS – There are about 10 deluxe camps for the people who appreciate more privacy. These camps are located at a distance of about 200 meters from the main camps, and provide you a blissful and delightful experience. Each tent has its own sit-out area where you can enjoy your morning tea, and the Deluxe tents also have a communal dining tent for meals.
  • PRIVATE CAMPS – Rajasthan’s rulers loved to hunt. They went to plenty of hunting expeditions that didn’t end for days. Now that hunting is the thing of the past, Manvar still carries on the safari tradition. These plush camps are placed into the wild. They’re for two people, who can enjoy the absolute silence of the Thar, stargaze at night, and have gourmet meals delivered to their tent.

SWIMMING POOL:

The resort has a lovely pool, for you to relax in. You can also take a rejuvenating dip and work the latent stress. Also on hot days, the cool water of the pool only acts as a blissful experience and makes you sigh.

FOOD & DRINKS: –

RESORT:

The resort hosts a restaurant that serves plentiful Indian cuisine to treat your taste buds. The restaurant is a walk-in restaurant, so you can have your meals at your own time. The chefs know what pleases the travellers and recreate their dishes accordingly. So, get ready for an experience filled with pleasure and excitement.

CAMPS:

The standard and deluxe camps have a common tent for meals. The food is served according to your likes to give a wholesome and good desert experience. The dishes are prepared as exactly how you want them to be. In the Private tents, food is served within the tents. Gourmet meals are cooked by master chefs to leave you amazed and to demand more.

BAR:

The resort also has an open bar that serves known brands of alcohol beverages from all over the globe. The appetizers on the bar menu are unique and are widely appreciated. The uniqueness of the whole concept is often marveled upon.

LOCATION:-

  • By Air – The closest airport to the resort is in Jodhpur, which is about 110 kms away. It takes around a couple of hours to reach from Jodhpur to Manvar. It is advised to summon someone from the resort, because most people are unable to locate it.
  • By Rail – Jodhpur has a railway station that is well connected with most major cities. You can take a train to Jodhpur, and travel the rest of the way by cab.
  • By Road – Manvar Resort lies on the Jodhpur-Jaisalmer highway or NH114. From Jaisalmer, it is about 180 kms away. You can hire a cab or call someone from the resort.
