Fort Chanwa

Fort Chanwa is a grand and ancient fort that that has been restored to its glory by Maharaja Dalip Singhji along with his spouse Rani Madhu, heirs to H.H Maharaja Umaid Singhji Jodhpur. The entire fort is articulately and intricately carved out of red sandstones and decorated with fine lattice work in the jharokhas or balconies. Walls of the Fort are adorned with tasteful and ornate classical paintings, providing you with an in-depth insight into the history. The royal architecture displays Indian heritage in all its wonderful glory. The rooms are all designed to be different from each other. Interior of the rooms all portray the opulent and rich culture of Rajasthan state and are equipped with all facilities. The air-conditioned rooms come with all amenities, like tea-coffee maker, mini-bar, direct dialing telephone, Wi-Fi, et cetera. The beds are softer than clouds and guarantee a well-rested sleep and proper comfort. Dine-in service can be asked if you want to spend the day in bed. The fort has a restaurant that is known to serve flavors that you want. The chefs of the restaurant are trained well to make sure that the tastes are refined to your taste-buds, but with a blend of western spices. PICNIC LUNCH:

The hotel offers you a choice of an organized picnic lunch by the beautiful oasis. The tour departs in the morning, spotting several tribes, as they go along with antelopes. At the end of the journey lies a delicious picnic, awaiting you with a bar set-up, all at the oasis.

LOCATION: –

  • By Air – A flight to Luni is unavailable, but you can get a flight to the nearest airport which is in Jodhpur ( 61 kilometers). The other option is to take a flight to Dabok Airport in Udaipur, which is 176 kilometers away. As Luni does not have a bus stand, you will have to take a cab.
  • By Rail – Luni does have a railway junction, which is connected by trains to all the major cities over the state. You can easily hire a cab to the hotel.
  • By Road – Luni does not have a bus stand. The nearest bus stand to the district is in Jodhpur, which is 61 kilometers away. You can also travel through the city in a taxi.
