Bera Safari Lodge is spread on a 10 Acre land near Liloda Hill and owned and managed by the famous conservationist Mr Shatrunjay Pratap Singh. Bera is an adventurer’s retreat snuggled in the Aravalli ranges that offers a tranquil and beautiful backdrop to stay in most popular leopard getaway destination.

OVERVIEW:

Located at the popular region of Bera, this is the only place in the world where leopards and Rabari tribe coexist together without any conflict. The Jawai Leopard Conservation Zone surrounds Bera which is blessed with magnificent desert scenery rocky outcrops, forest plains and unbeatable sunsets. Jawai Dam is the largest man-made dam of the western Rajasthan, and its backwaters are a prime location to spot large no. of crocodiles. Shantrunjay Pratap, the owner is a passionate photographer, leopard lover and ardent conservationist. This rocky outcropping made of valuable granite that provided a home and refuge to the leopards was granted a mining lease. Shatrunjay and his team swung into action after 2 years of running around from pillar to post managed to convince the Rajasthan Government to cancel the order. Today the area has a healthy thriving population of more than 50 leopards

FACILITIES:-

ROOMS (No. of Cottages- 5):

The boutique property offers charming, spacious and elegantly decorated cottages with private sit-outs. This is the only place in the country where one can spot leopard by looking outside the cottage window. The architecture of the cottages is such that they welcome an abundance of natural light through large windows so that the guest can enjoy the natural surroundings rich in diverse flora and fauna. The cottages feature modern amenities including, air conditioner, 24-hour room service, intercom and en-suite luxurious bathroom.

 EXPLORE:

  • Use your binoculars to watch rare species of birds. It’s common to get a glimpse of Indian Leopard while in the property or on the Jeep Safari and other animals are Wild Boar, Indian Jackal or Nilgai Antelope.
  • Go for hiking in the nearby forests and dam.
  • Go for the village walk and learn to cook Rajasthani cuisine.
  • Enjoy jeep safari and spot crocodiles at Jawai Dam.

The Lodge offers you a range of local Rajasthani cuisines, which you can enjoy sitting around a bonfire. Most of the vegetables and ingredients are sourced locally.


LOCATION:-

  • By Air – Jodhpur & Udaipur are the nearest domestic airports at 165 km & 135 km, respectively. You can commute either by rail or road to reach Pali. Contact hotel for pick-up facility or hire a taxi to reach the hotel.
  • By Rail – Jawai Junction is the nearest railway station at 18 km. Another nearby railway station is Pali (102 km). Take a taxi from the railway station or use the pick & drop service of the hotel.
  • By Road – Buses to Pali are available from all major cities of the country. The distance between Pali and major cities- Jodhpur (82.4 km), Kota (307 km), Jaipur (296 km). Hire a taxi from the Pali bus stand or use the pick & drop service of the hotel.
