Rosie’s Retreat Homestay

Rosie’s Retreat Homestay is a home away from home. After a busy day exploring Udaipur, it is the best place to stay in a beautiful and serene ambience. The open spaces and a large lake view balcony give you inner peace, away from the hustle-bustle of the city. One would be shocked to know that the place was purchased by Rosie from a Rickshaw driver because his family outgrew the place, it was constructed with cow dung and bamboo roof. Now it has been transformed into a luxury apartment.


OVERVIEW: –

The place is decently spacious and houses two open spaces a lake view balcony and a private terrace. The place is located in the old city below City Palace but in a safe and silent alley. Some worth seeing attractions in close proximity are – Lake Pichola (1 km), Saheliyon ki Bari (3.7 km), Bagore ki Haveli (450 meters), City Palace (50 meters), Karni Mata Ropeway (2.6 Km).

The place is accessibility friendly and has a broad entrance. The place has a luxury king bed, a kitchen with a coffee making machine, an office table. The place also has power backup. All antiques and textiles in the apartment are for sale. A large selection of books and magazines are provided for guests pleasure as are some games. Umbrellas and Iron Board are provided in the apartment. Yoga mats are also provided for morning yoga sessions.

LOCATION:-

  • By Air – Udaipur’s airport is called Maharana Pratap Airport, and it is well-connected with all the major cities. The airport also harbours a stand for taxis where you can either hire one on-the-spot or book in advance.
  • By Rail – Udaipur has brilliant railway connectivity with all important cities such as Jaipur, Delhi, Agra, Mumbai, et cetera. You can easily find waiting taxis and “rickshaws” outside of the railway’s station that will eagerly take you to your destination safely.
  • By Road – Via NH-8, Udaipur is well-connected to Delhi and Mumbai, at a distance of 700 km each. You can either take one out of the several buses that daily commute to and from the city or hire a driver.
