Tanot Mata Temple is located in Jaisalmer, close to the border with Pakistan. It is said that Pakistani Army dropped more than 3000 bombs during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, targeting the temple. But, not even a single bomb exploded. The temple is maintained by the BSF soldiers.
