Khimsar Sand Dunes is a desert camp that sprawls over 60 acres. Located 4.5 kms from Khimsar Fort, the camp offers the best desert getaways. The places that you can visit nearby Khimsar Sand Dunes are- Nagaur Fort (46.9 kms), Salasar Balaji Temple (180 kms), Black Buck Deer Sanctuary (160 kms), Ramdevra Temple (180 kms), and Tarkishah Dargah (40 kms).

The rooms are available in the form of thatched huts. These huts are comfortable and spacious, and are embellished with wooden and iron furniture, handicrafts, mirror-work, heaters and coolers, attached bathrooms, cold/hot running water. Other features include double-decker huts, open-air showers, and independent courtyards. All the huts overlook a mini lake that contains goldfish, geese, and ducks.

  • By Rail – Nagaur Railway Station is 47.3 kms from the camp. Osiyan Railway Station is 69.3 kms from Khimsar Dunes. Hire a taxi from there to reach the station.
  • By Road – Central Bus Stand, Nagaur, is closest to Khimsar Dunes. It is just 49.1 kms from the desert camp. Take a taxi to reach your destination.
