Jaisalmer Hostel Crowd is a fantastic facility for everyone who seeks a luxurious, clean place to stay that’s not too pricey. The staff at the hostel is widely known for its eager and attentive nature, and they point you to in all the right directions so you can enjoy your stay thoroughly. There are only five rooms in the hostel, giving you ample of space for yourself. A choice of 3 Bed Mixed Dorms and private rooms is provided to all guests as they check in. The rooms have all usual amenities like air-conditioner, hot water shower, power sockets, on-call room service, et cetera.

All rooms are kept clean under the strict policy of maintaining a certain standard of hygiene. The linen is changed on a regular basis, and bathrooms are kept clean at all hours. There are also safety vaults in the rooms for you to store your important stuff in. The beds are comfortable and have a nice view from the windows. The staff is eager and willing to serve, and lend an ear to any issues that you might have.

There is no restaurant in the facility but there is a facility of a kitchenette where you can cook whatever it is that you wish. The staff can help you in the kitchen.

 

LOCATION:-

  • By Air – Jaisalmer does not have a commercial airport; only a military one. The airport does allow charter planes, but it is little used. The nearest domestic airport to the city is in Jodhpur, which takes about five to 6 six hours of travel. Outside the Jodhpur airport, you will easily spot several cabs that can take you to Jaisalmer, although it is better to book one in advance.
  • By Rail – Jaisalmer’s Railway system is organized. You can find several trains that connect the city to all major cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Jodhpur. Et cetera. Outside of the railway station are many taxis or rickshaws that will readily take you to the hostel.
  • By Road – Jaisalmer has good roads, making it ideal to drive there. Jaisalmer is 558 kms away from the state capital Jaipur, and it takes about nine hours of travel. Alternatively, you can also take one of the several buses that daily commute to and through the city.
