Grand Imperial

Built in the early 1900s as a Colonial Hotel for the British, The Grand Imperial hotel is the only old boutique grand heritage hotel in Agra operating from 100 years. ROOMS (Royal Suites – 15, Deluxe Rooms – 15):

Every corner of the rooms reflects majestic royalty and has a story to tell. The rooms are made of Lahori bricks and have wide verandas and corridors, high ceilings, and unique arches. They are adorned with exquisite paintings of Raja Ravi Verma, antique furniture, and ethnic Indian tapestry.

  • Chamber of Princes (575 sq. ft., Garden-facing Suite) – These air-conditioned rooms are located on first floor and overlook garden on one side and swimming pool on the other. The rooms feature antique furniture and cupboards, a four-poster queen sized bed, a well-stocked mini-bar, electronic safe, a sit out, tea /coffee maker and fruit baskets. Complimentary amenities such as shoe shine, newspaper, and toiletries are available on request.  The 100 sq. ft. bathroom comprises of running hot and cold water, a shower cubicle with all modern facilities, and a 100-year old bath tub.
  • Chamber of Princes (Pool-facing Suite) – These pool-facing suites are located on the ground floor and depict the royalty of the kings and queens of ancient India. The rooms are air-conditioned and feature fridge and mini-bar, in-room safe, wireless Internet, complimentary breakfast, 24 hours room service, and 24 hours hot and cold water.
  • Deluxe Rooms (325 sq. ft, Garden-facing Rooms) – Every room have distinct furniture, floral and handmade heritage tiles, prints of Raja Ravi Verma paintings on the wall, classical Indian printed upholstery and tapestry, and original beds with modern mattresses.  All rooms overlook garden and come with tea and coffee maker, a mini-bar and fridge, and 24 hours room service. The 50 sq.   • By Air- The distance between the Kheria airport and The Grand Imperial is 5.8 kms. Hire a taxi or cab to reach the hotel. It will take 20-25 minutes (approx) to reach the hotel from the airport.
  • By Rail- Agra Cantt Railway Station is 3.6 kms from the hotel. You can hire a cab or taxi from the station which will drop you the hotel in 10-15 minutes.
  • By Road- Agra is well-connected with all the major cities via road. The hotel is at a walking distance, i.e., 260 meters, from Transport Nagar Bus Stand. You will reach the hotel in 5 minutes from the bus stand.
