Located on the borders of Ranthambhore National Park, Sher Bagh is a tented camp adorned with 19th century ‘Campaign Style’ furniture. It is reminiscent of the bandobast and shikar camps of another age. ROOMS (Number of Tents- 12):

Depicting the style of the 1920s, all the tents are made up of canvas and are hand-stitched. The Edwardian campaign style furniture adds elegance to the camp. The following 3 types of tents are offered at the Sher Bagh:

  • The Royal “Burra Sahib” Suite: Fortified by grassed walls, this royal suite is adorned with colonial style campaign furniture and is built underneath the shade of neem trees. It comes with a private swimming pool and a veranda which overlooks the grasslands. A private butler takes care of your every need. (Best Room)
  • The Luxury “Pukka Sahib” Suite: Built beneath the shade of wild guava and gooseberry, the luxury suite is equipped with an open-air tree shower, Jacuzzi, a private walled-in garden, and a veranda. The hand-built mud walls enclose the suite. A private butler takes care of your every need.
  • Luxury Tents: The 10 spacious and air-conditioned luxury suites are well adorned with campaign furniture and come with their own veranda. They feature teak wood writing table, butler bell, comfortable bed, embroidered cushions, and hot water showers in the en-suite stone bathrooms.

SPA:

Lies beneath the peepal tree, the Sher Bagh Jungle Spa is echoed by a medley of birdsong. Reflexology treatments and a full body massage are offered to the guests by the expert therapists.

The Dining Tent serves European and Anglo-Indian lunches along with conventional Indian dinner. The ingredients used in the preparation of the dishes are handpicked from the Sher Bagh Farm and organic vegetable and herb garden. Arboreal lanterns adorn the pathways and campfire that is lit every night. Surrounded by acres of wild grasses and under the dome of a starlit sky, the resort takes pride on outdoor dining experiences where guests eat off traditional thalis while engaging in the jungle gossip of the day. The cuisine combines sumptuous western lunches with traditional Indian dinners cooked over clay ovens.

THE LIBRARY (Bar):

The Library Bar is open throughout the day. Perfect for a Beer or Bloody Mary before lunch, is on the upper storey of the Main Building
